Port Saint Lucie Properties has an investor group that builds spec homes for people who don’t qualify for construction perm loans or need a home immediately. In many cases these homes are in the “Pre-Selection” phase of construction allowing the buyer to select interior and exterior colors, roofing materials, kitchen and bathroom options. Other homes are near completion or completed and ready for immediate occupancy. Since these homes are built by individual investors, each investor selects the commission rate paid to the buyer representative however the commission is usually between 2.5% to 3%.
